Laura Isaacs-Galvan

Youth Services Coordinator

Laura was born and raised in Glendale, CA. She attended Freemont Elementary, Rosemont Middle
School, and graduated from Crescenta Valley High School (go Falcons!). She then headed up north to
attend Cal Poly Humboldt, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. It was in Humboldt
where she began her career path of working with at risk and disconnected youth. She has been a part of
the Glendale Youth Alliance team since May of 2015,  working with youth between the ages of 14 to 24.   In 2024, Laura graduated with her Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Woodbury University. When she’s not at GYA, you can find her either running board game nights with her friends or snuggling at home, watching movies with her husband and dogs, Olive & Rigatoni. She loves true crime, Marvel, Star Wars, Fallout, and pretty much anything else “nerdy”.
